OMERadio V1  – A New Era Begins

OME Radio is stepping confidently into a new era. After weeks of development, testing, and community‑driven refinement, the brand‑new OME Radio website is officially live  faster, cleaner, more accessible, and packed with improvements shaped directly by our listeners and staff. This launch marks the start of a more stable, feature‑rich platform built to support the future of OME Radio.

The V1 cycle delivered major upgrades across the player, accessibility, backend systems, authentication, and staff tooling. The listening experience received a boost with the introduction of the Popout Player and new volume‑remembering audio controls. Accessibility also took a meaningful step forward with Accessible Formats added across both the website and staff panel. User interaction improved thanks to refined Request Line rate limits, ensuring smoother and more consistent engagement.

Visual and administrative enhancements arrived with the Tickled Pink theme, new icons and avatars, and expanded moderation tools such as IP bans, suspensions, and user deletion. Stability saw a significant lift through SSL fixes and a more frequent CRON schedule, keeping the platform running reliably.

Behind the scenes, OME Radio completed a full migration from home‑hosted infrastructure to a dedicated server, with deployments streamlined through GitHub‑to‑cPanel integration. Authentication was strengthened with Discord login support, allowing users to securely link their accounts. The platform’s foundation expanded further with the introduction of the Maintenance Page & API, including Schedule View, Team View, Request Line endpoints, and a separate Staff Login portal.

Together, these updates dramatically improve performance, accessibility, reliability, and the overall user experience across the OME Radio ecosystem setting the stage for everything coming next.
